The debut solo album. SIGNED ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING. In the spring of 1979 (upon leaving The Runaways) Joan Jett flew to England to record some songs with Steve Jones and Paul Cook of The Sex Pistols. Despite the popularity of The Runaways, this debut solo record was rejected by several US labels, thus a handful of copies were released in England on the boutique label Ariola Records in early 1980. Joan then chose to release the album herself in the US on her own Blackheart Records and eventually signed with a major label. Listed here is one of the few surviving original first pressings of the record from England. It is by far the most rare and highly sought after of all Joan Jett records. What makes this one even more rare is that it is hand signed in red pen by Joan, “Love Joan Jett”. Beautiful cover is suitable for display with record in very good plus condition and original photo inner-sleeve is included. The ultimate gift for any fan and a very rare piece that will continue to grow in value.
